A refreshed workplace supporting Glovo's return-to-office transition. The design layers the brand's playful identity — a wall of core-value posters, illuminated signage, and a House of Talent feature wall — over calm, functional lounge and pantry spaces built for everyday team use.
Harmony Design Studio was commissioned to deliver a full interior refresh of Glovo's Nairobi office to support the company's return-to-office initiative. The challenge: create a space that makes people want to come in — not because they have to, but because the environment energises them.
The design layers Glovo's vibrant identity directly into the architecture. An illuminated Glovo logo panel frames the entrance, flanked by a grid-mesh feature wall bearing the iconic "House of Talent" neon sign. A corridor of framed core-value posters — Glovonership, High Bar, Good Vibes — lines the path to meeting rooms named after Kenyan national parks.
Functional spaces — pantry, lounge, prayer room, and storage — were finished with the same care as the branded zones, creating an office that feels cohesive and considered at every turn.
A curated selection of spaces — from the illuminated entrance feature wall to the functional pantry, lounge, meeting rooms, and storage areas that complete the fit-out.
The workspace was designed around three behavioural states — brand identity, active collaboration, and restorative connection — each zone receiving a distinct treatment while staying visually cohesive.
The illuminated Glovo logo panel and "House of Talent" neon wall set the tone the moment you enter. A planter-lined reception, core-value poster corridor, and branded wayfinding reinforce culture before work even begins.
Twelve meeting rooms — named after Kenyan national parks — fitted with acoustic wall panels, executive seating, walnut-finish conference tables, and full AV integration. Built for both focused sessions and larger team meetings.
A full pantry kitchen with island seating, rattan pendant lighting, and a breakout lounge area. Completed with 24 personal lockers, a prayer room, and a dedicated storage room — everything a returning team needs.
The material palette balances warmth and brand rigour. Rattan pendant lights and warm oak tones in the lounge contrast with the dark gloss cabinetry and polished tile in the pantry — mirroring Glovo's own identity: playful but precise.
Every branded element was custom-specified — from the backlit logo panel dimensions and planterbox joinery to the neon lettering typestyle and grid-mesh wall texture — ensuring the result felt authentically Glovo, not off-the-shelf.
Meeting rooms were differentiated by acoustic felt wall panels, creating a quieter, focused atmosphere distinct from the energetic open plan floors — a deliberate behavioural cue built into the architecture.
